Max Steel Reboot Wiki

The Turbo Car, is Maxwell McGrath's car. It was once an old beat-up truck that belonged to Vin and Dwayne. It was later bought by Max in a pre-owned car lot and Berto later on upgraded the vehicle, allowing Steel to link with it and use it on missions when needed. It debuted in Driven.

History[]

Season 1[]

Driven[]

The truck was used by Vin and Dwayne in an attempt of escaping from the police. They parked it on a pre-owned car lot, thinking that it was a parking lot. They left a case that they had stolen for Extroyer on it, hoping that they would be able to recover it later on.

In the next day, Max and Kirby went to the pre-owned car lot. After looking at a few options, Max decided to spend his money on the truck, as it was the only vehicle that he could afford. He was going back home when the vehicle was damaged thanks to his Turbo Touch problem. He later takes the car for Berto to upgrade, and he turns it into the Turbo Car, featuring a Turbo Interface for Steel to link with and armed with advanced weaponry.

Max later on takes his driver test. During the test, Sydney calls Max and reveals that she had been kidnapped. With Max's instructor, Mr. Jones, asleep, Steel links with the vehicle's Turbo Interface, Turbofying it. The Ultralink tracks down the signal of Sydney's cellphone and they chase after Vin and Dwayne, eventually arriving at an abandoned warehouse where Extroyer was waiting. With Sydney held hostage, Max is forced to give Extroyer the case that was on his car.

Steel later on runs over Extroyer with the Turbo Car, leading to his defeat. Afterwards, they escape.

Season 2[]

Abilities[]

The Turbo Car features a Turbo Interface on its front. When Steel links to it, the vehicle's appearance changes and it gains heavy weaponry. When he is not linked to it, the car has the appearance of a truck. The compartment on its back allows it to carry items.

As stated by Berto in Driven, the Turbo Car is equipped with a heads-up digital display, a hidden flip-on armory and a Stealth Mode that turns the vehicle nearly invisible. It can also shoot a pair of potent T.U.R.B.O-powered missiles on a target and is shown to be quite resistant. It has an incredible brakes system, shock jumping mechanism and a N-Tek communication system embedded on it. The more T.U.R.B.O. energy Max generates, the faster it goes.

Additionally, Steel can drive the vehicle by himself, as seen in Driven.
