Hero Overload[]
While two thieves were stealing jewels, the Superbrawl Strikeforce introduced themselves and stopped them. Their actions are quickly noticed on the news, attracting Max and Steel's attention.
While Max is exploring one of Miles Dread's facilities, he is thrown off from the building by an explosion and Power Wing gets him. While Knockout introduces the group to Max, Power Wing and Quickfire invade the building and stumble upon Miles, who chases them. A battle ensues between the Superbrawl Strikeforce and Dread, who is quickly taken down by them. They later on ask Max to lead them, though he is reluctant at first.
Max meets with the group later and Quickfire reveals that a group of Dread Naughts were attacking Copper Canyon's central district. They head to the location and Max is quickly taken down, so the rest of the Superbrawl Strikeforce take action and easily take down the army of Dread Naughts. Afterwards, reporters circle them and praise them for their actions, though the group states that they were just helping Max Steel.
The next day, Max and Steel meet with the group while they are battling against firefighting devices developed by THI that went rogue. After Max flees due to Steel malfunctioning, the Superbrawl Strikeforce attempt to find him. Quickfire finds him and leads him to Miles Dread, revealing that they were his apprentices. After he learns that they were being mind-controlled by Dread with gauntlets, Max sucessfully frees Power Wing from the villain's control. They assist him in taking down Dread and they talk with Max afterwards, stating that they just wanted to be a hero like him.
