Chimeric Creatures (/kɨˈmɪərə/ or /kaɪˈmɪərə/, also Chimaera, Chimæra; Greek: Χίμαιρα Chímaira), or also known as Chimeras, were, according to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing creature of Lycia in Asia Minor, composed of the parts of three animals — a lion, a snake and a goat. Usually depicted as a lion, with the head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail that ended in a snake's head, the Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.

The term chimera has come to describe any mythical or fictional animal with parts taken from various animals, or to describe anything perceived as wildly imaginative or implausible.

In the Max Steel (2013 TV Series), this was seen when Extroyer used Steel as his second Ultralink, so that he could turn into a creature that is a mix of all of Extroyer's transformations, which would make him very powerful and impossible to be stopped by Max Steel and N-Tek. The transformation was a mix of a lot of animals, and it was first seen in the episode, Making the Grade, which was Extroyer Demon. It is said that there will be a second transformation like this one in Season 2, but with another Ultralink.
