Bone Links (unofficial name) were a type of Makino's soldiers introduced on Season 1. They are unusually fast and possesses large claws that they use as their main weapon. One of them appeared in Earth Under Siege Part Two, which marked their debut.

Origins

They are created when an Fighter Ultralink (generally blue) bonds with a skeleton of an dead animal.

Season 1

Earth Under Siege Part Two

The Makino Destroyer released a Fighter Ultralink that bonded with a skeleton of an dead animal, creating a Bone Link, that later smashed one of N-Tek's tanks.

Season 2

Ultralink Invasion Part One

One of them appeared as part of Max and Steel's training. He roared and then attacked Max, who defended himself and knocked the monster down, later defeating once for all with a T.U.R.B.O. Energy charge.

Many of these monsters were created and seen in the background in the end of the episode.

Abilities

  • Superhuman Strength: They are stronger than an average person, like other Ultralink monsters.
  • Superhuman Durabilty: After Rock Links, they are considerably more durable than any other Ultralinks.
  • Superhuman Speed: Their speed almost matches Lizard Link's. Seen in Earth Under Siege Part Two, they usually use their claws to boost and jump on enemies in high speed.
  • Giant Claws: They possesses large claws, an unique feature from this Ultralink monster. They can also execute combos by attacking continuously the enemy with their claws, seen in Ultralinks Attack.
  • Unlimited Stamina: They can fight during long periods, take large amounts of damage and return harmless to battle like other Ultralink monsters.

Weaknessess

  • Energy Core: Like other Ultralinks monsters, their weak point is located on the head. When hit by someone or something, the Ultralink will instantly faint and return to the battle if the core is not destroyed.

Appearance

They share the same body type as the other Ultralink monsters, featured by a muscular and skinny appearance, and their head are slightly similar to the others, closely matching Lizard LinksGun Links and Rock Links. They have three eyes in each side of the head, pointy teeths with the canine being larger than the others and the Fighter Ultralink located in the center of their head, with only two upper arms being shown instead of the six. Their body are entirely constituted by a yellowish white color with cracks around all the body. They have spikes protuding from their shoulders, elbows and column.

Personality

They are mindless and savage monsters that attack everything on their way for the glory of Makino. They also behave like animals in battles and have an endless thirst for destruction.
